Travelling in my life never goes as planned!

Here is a brief note about my travel adventures: My flight from Pearson was delayed an hour and a half as some people who checked luggage in didn't show up for the flight so their luggage had to be removed from the plane. Almost everyone had a connecting flight to catch and a lot of them were on my connecting flight to Bangalore. When we got to Frankfurt we had about 20 minutes to get to our flight, which of course was at the far end of the terminal! And we had to go through security on our way, which seemed very random. After getting on the plane I realized my luggage probably would not make the connection. And I was right. When we landed in Bangalore most of the luggage had not made the connection. Some people got one or two of their bags but I got none of mine. And when I boarded in Toronto I had to check in my carry on because there was no room for it. All I had in my backpack was clean underwear and clean socks! Which is better than not having them. But I was given 4000rupees (no idea how much that is in Canadian) to buy toiletries -which I had in my backpack anyways. Ron and Lilo were at the airport to get me and then we drove to their place. Even though the roads were really empty it was a fairly crazy drive back. The drivers here are slightly insane and they are all over the road and they drive on the left! Ron and Lilo have a really nice bungalow. And I should probably try to get some sleep as I've barely slept since leaving Toronto and now I have a time change to adjust to :) BlogBooster-The most productive way for mobile blogging. So Unreal

It really doesn't seem real. I don't feel like I'm going to India. I don't have my visa, so I can't get my ticket. And having a ticket to fly somewhere makes it feel more real. All I have as evidence is an almost completely packed suitcase just waiting for me to get my visa and ticket so it can finish getting packed. It's starting to drive me a little insane. Trying to be mentally and emotionally prepared to leave for 6 months when I don't have a set departure date anymore is a bit hard. I had Monday December 10 picked out as the day I was leaving. And my friends are throwing me a farewell party tomorrow night. But I might be around for a few days longer. Not that I mind too much, I just really want to get this adventure started! So, prayers for my visa would be greatly appreciated! It's so far been 4 days longer than they told me it would be.
