There is a 7 person team here from Ireland. They have been here for a week and are here until Thursday (they are amazing people who make Apple crumble!) They decided to take all the girls and staff (around 80 people) on a full day trip to a waterfall about half an hour away, and then we went to a hotel type place for lunch, and then we came back to KGH and they had hired some cooks from a restaurant in town to cook dinner. It was a beautiful sunny hot day - the weather here doesn't really vary - and I got a sun burn. In January. I'm going to have epic tan lines! Here are some photos from the day.
Chocolate in India
I have been craving chocolate ever since I finished everything my mum sent with me (thank you mum, it was needed!) *remembers smarties in fridge, goes and gets said smarties* Ok, now I am finishing it! So, I was craving chocolate and thought I should buy some here and try it before I guilt my friends and family into spending a weeks wages on mailing me chocolate. Kit Kats are one of my favorites so I bought 4 itty bitty ones for 5rupees each (9cents) They are TINY!
They are pretty much a two bite deal. And they are designed to not melt which is odd, but much appreciated here! So have no fear friends and family! I won't be trying to guilt you into mailing me copious amounts of chocolate! But, I may think of other things to guilt you into sending me...
English Class on a Wednesday part 2
I did mad libs with both classes today. Here is what the older girls (2-4 standard) came up with for their story:
Once upon a time there was a princess named Paru. Her parents were King David
and Queen Renoka. They lived in a nice black & white
castle in the land of Bananas. One day Princess Paru decided to go visit Justine.
Justine lived in the land of Germany which was very small.
To get to Germany, Princess Paru had to use a bus.
She also had to cross a road. After 67 days Princess Paru
reached the land of Germany and was told that
her friend Justine had traveled to the land of Bananas to visit Princess Paru
in the nice black & white castle. So
Princess Paru traveled back to her nice black & white
castle and had tea with her friend Justine. The
End.
